Only 30-minutes northwest of Asheville, located in the still largely secluded mountains of Leicester - you will marvel at the quaint historical farmlands of corn and cattle - where at night you can see a full array of brilliantly lit stars!
With undeniably one of the most inspiring mountain views around Asheville, Compassionate Expressions offers a respectively private and low stimulus atmosphere inside and out with two Retreat Houses, two Mountain Inn Rooms, two outdoor whirlpool Hot Tubs by the creek, Sauna and quality personalized Healing and Spa services cradled in the middle of Mother Nature's palm. We also welcome Special Event Rentals: weddings, commitment ceremonies, workshops, outdoor festivals, and other tributes of the heart! Don't take our word for it, even the local natives tell us, "You're nestled in the prettiest cove in the area."
Enjoy 40 private acres with natural wildlife, pastureland, forest, mountain ridge, running creek and wild medicinal foliage. Our drinking water and outdoor Whirlpool Hot Tubs are sourced by natural spring fed well water with a healing unstructured Ph-level of 7.8 - better than any purified bottle water! Hiking trails, organic berry picking, horseback riding and a nationally renowned herb farm are only minutes away. Our quality healing practitioners are committed to giving you personal attention around your health and well-being needs. Our goal is to send you home feeling inspired, renewed and relaxed!

About our Three Different Accommodation Offerings:
"Spirit Creek" & "Angels Nest" Retreat Houses:
Each Retreat House
(separate rentals) is designed as a
One Bedroom Guesthouse with "cabin-like" interior and
spectacular mountain view
~ all within walking distance to the Main Inn where healing/spa services
are offered. Each guesthouse can sleep up to four people
(one double bed and one queen size
bed ~ rollaway bed available for $10.00 extra) a living room area that is constructed with spruce wood for that
"cabin feel". Other amenities include: master bedroom with queen size bed
and privacy door,
ceiling fan and electric heating unit. Fully equipped kitchen,
electric stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and dining table. Living room with
couch, separate double bed, ceiling fan, air conditioning, stereo CD player,
games, reading material and a traditional cast iron wood-burning stove with
window for fire viewing. Patio sitting area with table and chairs, charcoal
BBQ and Fire Pit access.

Short notice cancellations threaten our ability to continue to offer excellent prices and a beautiful getaway for our valued guests.
(Please read our cancellation policies carefully as they will be enforced.)
Please Note: Posted room rates are based on double occupancy. Add $10.00 for each additional person thereafter. Limit four people to Retreat Houses. Inn Rooms are limited to double occupancy only. (Prices are subject to change without notice.) Credit card ensures reservation will be held for you. (Occupant Policies: No children are allowed in Inn Rooms, only in Retreat Houses. Please inquire about our Child Policy. Sorry, No Pets or RVs. All accommodations are non-smoking. Smoking permitted outdoors. Check-in is: 3:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM.
Cancellation Policy: A (7-day) cancellation notice is required (except for holiday & October bookings when a 14-day notice is required. See holiday policy below). Cancellations made 7-days or less of the booked reservation will be charged the full amount (of the original booking) to the credit card holding the reservation. "No Shows" will be charged the full amount of original booking. "Early departure" also falls within our cancellation policy. (We cannot operate like hotel chains that receive walk in customers in cases of last minute cancellations.)
Please Note: All cancellations must be telephoned in "live" - making direct verbal contact with Innkeeper to be valid. Cancellations by e-mail or phone message will not be accepted.
Weekend Policy : A two night minimum stay is required on weekends. However, one night travelers are welcome to call to the "Thursday" before that weekend to inquire about late availability for a one night booking.
Holiday Policy: A 3-night minimum stay will receive priority booking for major holidays: Christmas, New Years, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving. One or two night travelers are welcome to call and inquire about availability for shorter stays on holiday bookings.
Special Note: A (14-day) cancellation notice is required for all holiday & October reservations, otherwise the entire original booking will be charged to credit card holding the reservation. "No Shows" will be charged the full amount of original booking. "Early departure" also falls within our cancellation policy. Spa & Healing Services: A 48-hour cancellation notice is required on all reserved spa & healing services: Massage, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Energy Healing, Past Life Regression, Hot Tub and Sauna bookings - otherwise entire fee will be collected.
No Smoking: is permitted in any of our accommodations or indoor facilities. You are welcome to smoke outdoors. If any cigarette smoke is detected after a stay, a $250.00 cleaning fee will automatically be charged to the credit card holding the reservation.
